Job description
Key Responsibilities: 1. Statutory Compliance & Tax Filing: Execute monthly TDS calculations, prepare working papers, and ensure timely filing of TDS returns. Prepare monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data, compile working sheets, and complete accurate GST filings. Perform regular reconciliation of GSTR-2A and GSTR-2B to ensure accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims. 2. Core Reconciliations & Financial Control: Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations and Paytm wallet reconciliations. Manage and verify financial settlements and reconciliations for Swiggy and Zomato. Perform Debtor and Creditor ledger scrutiny to ensure aging accuracy and resolve discrepancies. 3. Leadership & Team Management: Supervise, train, and guide a team of two junior accountants. Review daily bookkeeping and accounting entries executed by team members. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or Finance. Experience as a Senior Accountant preferably in FMCG, Retail, or Food Services. Strong hands-on experience with Tally ERP. Experience with Rancelab software is preferred. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and reconciliation workflows.
