Legal Apprentice Collections

Role Overview: As a Legal Apprentice in the Collections department, you will support the legal and collections teams in recovering overdue loan payments while ensuring proper documentation and regulatory compliance. The role combines legal knowledge, customer interaction, and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Track overdue (delinquent) customer accounts. Follow up with customers regarding pending payments. Record payment commitments and maintain accurate documentation. Draft, organize, and maintain legal notices, case files, and recovery-related documents. Assist with legal compliance and company policies. Coordinate with the Collections and Legal teams. Maintain MIS reports and update collection trackers using MS Excel. Skills Required: LLB student or recent law graduate. Interest in banking, finance, debt recovery, or collections. Good communication and negotiation skills. Understanding of legal documentation and regulatory compliance. Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills. Ability to multitask and work independently with strong attention to detail.
