Production Supervisor

1. Production Management Supervise daily production activities as per the production plan. Ensure production targets are achieved within the scheduled time. Monitor production output and machine performance. Ensure maximum utilization of manpower and machinery. Minimize production downtime and process delays. 2. Manpower Management Allocate work to operators and helpers. Monitor attendance, discipline, and shift activities. Conduct shift handover meetings. Train new employees on production processes and safety. Motivate team members to improve productivity. 3. Quality Control Ensure products meet company quality standards. Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department. Identify defects and implement corrective actions. Reduce rejection, rework, and material wastage. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with all safety rules and SOPs. Enforce the use of PPE by all employees. Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards. Report unsafe conditions, accidents, and near misses. 5. Machine & Maintenance Coordination Monitor machine performance during production. Report machine breakdowns immediately. Coordinate with the Maintenance department for preventive and breakdown maintenance. Ensure machines are ready before the start of production. 6. Material Management Ensure timely availability of raw materials and packing materials. Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage. Coordinate with the Stores department for material requirements. 7. Documentation & Reporting Maintain Daily Production Reports (DPR). Record production quantity, rejection, downtime, and manpower utilization. Prepare shift reports and submit them to the Production Manager. Maintain production-related records as per company procedures.
