Job description
Our purpose is to give everyone real confidence to put their money to work. M&G plc is a leading savings and investments firm with over 175 years of heritage, combining asset management and insurance expertise. The Senior Process Reengineering Analyst role sits within M&G Life, supporting major transformation programmes focused on improving complex processes across Life Insurance operations, distribution and finance through reengineering, automation, AI and improved data capabilities. This hybrid role combines business analysis, process improvement and data expertise. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business requirements and technology delivery, analysing source systems, translating complex data requirements into actionable specifications, challenging requirements where necessary and ensuring consistent data definitions across business groups. Key responsibilities include understanding existing business processes and identifying opportunities for simplification, redesigning processes and controls including automation opportunities, using data analysis and process mining techniques to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities, working with technology teams to determine suitable solutions, documenting redesigned business processes using tools such as Microsoft Visio, documenting standard, exception and failure scenarios, redesigning business validations and automated controls, tracking process improvement benefits including efficiency gains and customer outcomes, gathering and translating business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring traceability, challenging technical feasibility of requirements, and collaborating with data analyst teams to align requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in process mapping and process mining, KPI baselining, process automation, business analysis, data analysis, financial services experience and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
