Job description
About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our eCommerce development team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing web-based commerce platforms to ensure performance, usability, and reliability across browsers and devices. Youll leverage SmartBear test tools (e.g., TestComplete, SoapUI, LoadNinja, BitBar) and other automated/manual testing methods to identify issues before they reach our customers. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality digital experiences and have hands-on experience testing Shopify, Magento, or other eCommerce platforms, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for eCommerce websites and APIs. Use SmartBear tools such as TestComplete, SoapUI, and LoadNinja to perform UI, functional, performance, and API testing. Collaborate with developers, designers, product managers, and DevOps to identify defects, reproduce bugs, and validate fixes. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing. Ensure that web pages comply with performance, usability, and accessibility standards. Maintain and improve test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards.
