Desktop Support Engineer

Provide technical support and assistance to end-users by resolving desktop-related hardware and software issues. Troubleshoot desktop systems, laptops, peripherals, and operating system problems using appropriate diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques. Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, and peripheral devices. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues while collaborating with internal technical teams to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions. Respond to user support requests promptly, ensure minimal downtime, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Document all incidents, troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and follow-up actions accurately within the ticketing or incident management system. Maintain system performance by performing routine maintenance and preventive support activities. Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to non-technical users and provide guidance on the proper use of desktop systems and applications. Ensure compliance with organizational IT support processes and assist in maintaining a stable and secure desktop computing environment. Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in desktop support or a related technical support role, strong knowledge of system engineering principles, desktop hardware components, peripherals, troubleshooting methodologies, and excellent communication skills for interacting with end-users and stakeholders.
